Cyberattack Disrupts Operations At Molson Coors

Molson Coors Beverage Co. disclosed on Thursday that it has suffered a cyberattack impacting its brewing operations and shipments.
In a Form-8K filed with the SEC today, Molson Coors reported that they suffered a cyberattack on March 11th, disrupting their operations, including the production and shipment of beer.
The Company has taken systems offline to prevent the further spread of malware. It is unclear if the attack is localised to the Molson Coors corporate network or spread to the networks of their brand.
The Company is working around the clock to get its systems back up as soon as possible,” Miller Coors wrote in the filing. “Although the Company is actively managing this cybersecurity incident, it has caused and may continue to cause a delay or disruption to parts of the Company’s business, including its brewery operations, production, and shipments.”
In addition to its namesake brews, Molson Coors brand includes Pilsner, Miller Lite, Urquell and Blue Moon.
Bleeping Computer reported that multiple firms have told them that. Molson Coors suffered a ransomware attack by could not share what malware gang was involved.
In November, Milan-based Campari Group announced that it underwent a ransomware attack that caused a temporary technology outage and compromised some personal and business data.
